We all have our favorite riders and would love to see those specific riders do better than the average rider on the tour. But I think that
I enjoy the "sport" over one individual rider.

I am totally impressed by Ullrich's performance. He'll be back next year to challenge Lance again and I am already looking forward to it.

I am embarrassed by the way many of the US's people act when someone from the States win's something. Not much class over here in so many ways. I hope people don't think we are all like that.

Oh by the way.....it is spelled Ullrich, not Ullrick.

I mean, what's wonderful about cycling is how most of us appreciate the performance of everyone in the race, without getting all "My-guy-can-beat-up-your-guy" over one rider versus another.

I was pulling for Armstrong to win, but I still loved Ullrich's performance this year, and I would happily have had the race be even closer. Gratuitous digs at Ullrich -- or anyone else, for that matter -- are just silly wastes time, antithetical to what most of us love about cycling.
