re:worlds viewing w/o 'VIP' tickets. - 2005/10/21 04:39
I am thinking about making the drive from Oshawa tomorrow to see the '1337 Men's Time Trial, and again on Sunday to see the '1337 Men's Road Race. I don't have tickets so I know I won't be able to get into the start/finish area; but should I want into that area can I buy tickets on sight? Also, will parking be a pain in the ass, or can I park my car for a decent price and not have to worry about it for the rest of the day? And do I have to have a ticket to access any other part of the course? Or can I just find a section along the course and sit my arse down and snap some pics of the riders as they go by? I'm assuming that since the course is 20km long or so, and goes through residential areas, there will be lots of 'non-ticket' areas to watch the race and I won't have to worry about UCI thugz coming up and asking to see my ticket stub?
