No coverage Tour de France - 2000/10/29 11:39 I can't believe Pittsburgh. We have no coverage of this event on the final day. I can't watch it here. OLN is owned by CBS and our pathetic local
KDKA (CBS) blocked it out so they can run some recap at 2:00. I can't believe this place.

Hope everyone else is enjoying it. I have to listen to it only.

US rider no less, that had cancer) winning a tying fifth in a row. You got to love the f'n US. This could be such a great story, but we don't even seem to care over here. I see so many road bikes where I live. It is hard to believe no one really cares, but I guess not.

I didn't read the bottom banner to be honest, although I do remember seeing it. I had to drive to a friends home to watch it on OLN, because my cable company doesn't have that channel. You may want to not assume so much about someone. We all don't have OLN in our homes and have to drive 20+ miles to watch it. CBS is a joke. It is the final day of the
Tour and they don't even show it. I e-mailed them my complaint, not that it will do any good.

It is a joke that they didn't show it, period. It is a huge story and these big media idiots could care less.

re:No coverage Tour de France - 2000/10/30 04:32 I emailed OLN about this issue two weekends ago. They have a contractual obligation with CBS over this issue, they are hoping to renegotiate this issue for next year.
