    Tour de Georgia

    from dailypeloton.com:
05-Orbitel to Enter Florida Team Competition

Orlando, Florida, USA --The Colombian UCI Div. II team 05-Orbitel has announced that it plans to enter a 6 men squad into the team road race competition of the
Bike Across Florida 2004. Colombian ace cyclist Hernan Dario Bonilla will be leading the squad. Bonilla won the Tour of Sonila in Mexico and a stage in the
Vuelta Colombia. The Bike Across Florida is a pro-am cycling marathon of 267 km that will take place on April 18, 2004.

I guess that means that they plan to hang around for a few days and do our stage race? Why else would a D2 team fly to the US?

CSC has already said that they are racing the tour dG.

    Tour d G Teams in 2003:
    • U.S. Postal Service pro cycling team • Navigators • Saturn • Prime Alliance • Sierra Nevada/Clif Bar • 7UP/Maxxis • Schroeder Iron • Ofoto/Lombardi Sports • Jelly Belly/Carlsbad Clothing Cycling Team • Jittery Joe’s Coffee • Colavita-Bolla • Webcor Cycling Team • Team West Virginia • Rabobank (Netherlands)
    • Netherlands national team • Flanders Iteamnova • Sidermec Vini Caldirola • Formaggi Pinzolo

Saturn,Prime Alliance, 7up, shroeder iron, West Virginia, Flanders, Vini
    Caldirola are no longer teams.

7up is now Healtnet. Vini is now Aqua Sapone.

If they stay with the 18 team roster, then the returning teams will be:
    1.USPS
    2. navigators
    3.Sierra Nevada-based on Klasna,Wohlberg
    4.Healthnet- taking the 7up spot
    5.Ofoto
    6.Jelly Belly
    7.Colavita
    8.Webcor
    9. Jittery Joes
    10.CSC
    11. Orbitel- my assumption

The remaining 7 spots are anybodys guess?
    12. Aqua Sapone if Fred wants to come over again?
    13. Rabobank? Will they want to come get their ass kicked again.
    14. Monex
    15. Sharper image
    16.Parish foundation

    still leaves two teams?

    bored at home...your guess's

it's probably safer, thus more economical to fly to the US than it is to hire security and train at home. Sad thought but there it is.......
