Look track bikes for US team?

I have recently noticed that Look has been supplying some track bikes for the US track team (see the links below). Does this mean that USA
Cycling has finally given up on GT and tried to go to a more
    "off-the-shelf" track bike?

They could have been sponsored by Corima, which I think is the best sprint frame, definately strong and stiff, but Corima wanted the whole deal, with wheel sponsorship too and USAC has had a long standing relationship with Mavic.

EDS _wasn't_ basically the nat'l team at any point. It was only after '96 that they allowed non-employees to be on the team, or even hired riders as quasi-employees. Twigg was the only rider who really fit the bill of employee and nat'l team rider, and she joined EDS much later. All the other riders (Gannon, Carlson, Jen Evans, etc.) started at EDS as regular employees.
