Help with FDer on Road Bike

My wife has a Lotus (talk about ancient) road bike. I installed a new chain as she has some chain wear. The chain was the same size as the original (same Shimano chain), but I am having this problem that she is yelling at me about ("Why the hell did you break my bike?").

The problem is that the front derailleur metal cage-thing is not centered around the chain, but rather rubs against the left right side of it. Which screw/bolt do I adjust? The FDer is a Shimano Ultegra. Please help me out so
I can look cool by fixing it for her =P
