I am going to get some new lights . I am wondering if any one has tried any of the available Zenon Strobe likes like the one linked below or perhaps something better?

Since the following has happened to me a couple of times now I wanted to find out what is going on:

If I select post a follow up/reply to this message when I want to respond to a message rather than appearing as a reply to the selected message my response ends up posting as an entirely new message. Was that clear? What am I doing wrong?

I've been curious, from following a couple of sort-of related threads.
One guy pointed to a site that had a 1W single LED light (for $35 or so).
Now, 1 watt does not seem like much. At the moment I use a 15W
Nightrider, but am interested in something that would last longer and still have enough light.

Are there LED lights that really do the job? How many watts would it take?

About a year (and one winter) has passed since I have seen any reviews of winter cycling shoes. I am prepared to purchase the new model from either Lake or Gaerne, but would like to hear pros/cons and other recommendations from similarly cold-footed riders.

In particular, can anyone confirm that Lake or Gaerne winter shoes can/cannot work with Speedplay (X/2) cleats?

Our trusty floor bicycle pump is falling apart after many years of use, mostly for maintaining automobile tire pressure.

So, I'm looking to replace it with a *high-volumetric-capacity* floor-type hand bicycle pump.

What brands/models are recommended based on durability/reliability, volumetric capacity, accuracy of built-in pressure gauge, etc.?
