I got my USCF license just a few days ago, looked on their website and found the
Tom's Time Trial series, a series of four 10-mile ITTs in Corona, California. I love ITTs and if I were to choose a specialty, knowing I could succeed in any of them, it would be that one. I even work on my form using a full-length mirror.

I just picked up a road frame for the first time. I have been riding a hybrid frame for several years and felt I wanted to see what a real road bike would do for me.

I'm looking for a threadless mountain-style stem with a rise between
110 and 130 degrees. I've got a 110mm x 130-deg (i.e. 40 degrees of rise), and I'd like to find something 5-10 degrees lower. Steerer is
1-1/8" (28.6mm), and the bar dia is 25.4mm (standard mtb). I know about the custom Salsa stems, but would prefer something much cheaper.
