My wife's Cannondale R300 compact has 650 C tires with Sunrims ME14A rims.
Up until now it had IRC Paperline Plus tires with wire bead, but one of the annoying things was how hard it was to put them on (as in, if it happens when she's riding, she might as well get a ride back).

Which rim tape for a 22 mm rim?

I have a set of wheels with Sun CR-18 rims (which are listed as being 22 mm wide).

Which rim tape is appropriate for that width? I went to the store today and got 22 mm without thinking, but now that I look at it, the 22 mm tape as a slight overlap with the rim walls themselves, so it slightly curves up when settled on the bottom.

Should I go back and get 17 mm width tape, or is the 22 one perf

I used to use Continental GP3000 tyres, and found them perfectly satisfactory for some time. However, the most recent batch I bought were no good; the 23C tyre [1] was impossibly tight -
