re:the dreaded "theft" and a thief in for surprise. In category Tech issues Written by luxcars So some asshole (forgive my french) stole the rear wheel of my fixed gear. The rest of the bike and front wheel were u-locked to a large rack, so he could only get away with the rear. Whoever puts this on a bike will be in for a sufficiently fun surprise when they go to ride it, as it is a fixed hub. Since, i can't find the solution. When i first installed them, i even first thoroughly cleaned the rims with SOS pads and rinced well, as i always do. I installe
re:Preventing rust on bicycle chain In category Tech issues Written by Woolridge I noticed that every time I leave my bike out in the rain, a film of bright orange rust appears over the chain (and eventually sprockets), the very next day. Even though I leave it uncovered (by a tarp), to dry in the open air, the chain will still rust rather quickly. And this is after generous applications of Pedro's ICE WAX chain lubricating fluid. I don't want to have to re-oil the chain every 0 Products tagged with "bike outside" |
