Congrtas to LA for a well deserved win. The dedication, the mental strength and the superiority in his sport is really amazing. Reminds me of Michael when he had total control of Basketball.
But who's the greater athlete?

MJ- the ultimate competitor, refuses to lose, always finds a way to win, never failed in any level.

LA- overcame cancer, argueably in a tougher sport, the best cycler ever.

re:trainers tough on wheels?

I used a mag trainer last winter and this summer, my wheel cracked along the rim. I had a similar thing happen many years ago with a wind trainer.
Are there ways to prevent it?

The mechanic at the bicyle shop thinks it's not an uncommon problem but I haven't seen much discussion about it.

The why do they usually show either the plain bike or some white guy riding it in the photo? And where's his byline?
