Can anyone out there give me some advice on taking Shimano 105 cranks off? Once the bolt caps are off it seems that the puller tool that threads onto the arm just pushes through the b.b. spindle (it is hollow). It is a basic 105 group on a 5 year old bike.
Is there a special puller or am I missing something obvious? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
