re:training wheel for rollers

After a summer of being re-acquainted with my bike, I want to continue riding this winter by using rollers. It isn't VERY hard, but it is certainly not easy yet. I had an idea to make a "training wheel" to use while on rollers. It would be fairly heavy, so as to induce a gyroscopic effect. This would steady the bike AND add resistance. re:Recommended high-volume floor-type bicycle pumps?

Our trusty floor bicycle pump is falling apart after many years of use, mostly for maintaining automobile tire pressure.

So, I'm looking to replace it with a *high-volumetric-capacity* floor-type hand bicycle pump.

What brands/models are recommended based on durability/reliability, volumetric capacity, accuracy of built-in pressure gauge, etc.?
