I tried to calculate how many miles I have ridden a rode bike since high school which was when I started getting serious about climbing. This included everything, races, training rides, trainer at home, etc. I was riding before Avocet and Ciclomaster came out so it's hard to remember and count the miles but I came up with a very questionable number. How many miles? What's your guest? I bet most of

I recently bought a pair of radius cantis for my cross bike.
I'm having trouble finding the "sweet spot" for the staddle wire carrier position.

I've looked at Sheldon Brown's canti geometry page which was helpful, but the angles are way different on these brakes and are more like the "wide profile" design that he dismisses as obsolete and inferior to low/medium profile cantis.

Hi folks, this is my first post here, I did search the archives.

I'm heading to NZ for a couple of months of loaded touring. It's a road tour, but I understand there are lots of unpaved roads. Looks like the surfaces will vary from chipseal to hardpack to loose gravel.
