Question about bike weight

I'm not a bike builder / mechanic. What part of total bike weight is typical for the frame & fork, the wheels, the components, saddle & seatpost, etc.?

I just switched frame & fork from a Scandium frame / carbon fork to a
Trek carbon fiber frame & carbon fork. (I did this mainly because the old bike has vibrated on a downhill run a couple of times.) I'm now down from about 19.7

Anyone got any idea why we're seeing so many unpainted carbon frames at present? Presumably the resin is epoxy, and epoxy degrades (weakens) in UV light, including sunlight. My experience is that it loses integrity remarkable quickly - some epoxy boat parts I've made and left unpainted have failed in under a year, when equivelent painted parts show no signs of degradation. I had an accident in which a car pulled across my path. I struck the passenger rear quarter panel and flew over the car, taking the bike halfway across the trunk. The fork was slightly bent (can be straightened), and front wheel was badly warped. The frame is a ~1995 Trek 2300 with carbon main tubes bonded to aluminum lugs. The carbon tubes look physically fine.
