I finally got my campy record brifters no cables tho. Concerning gear/brake cables, should I be using gear cabling for the brake/gear levers or is there a seperate cable for each lever ? Also, must I use the campy cable set or ???

Middleburn Cable Lubers question
In category Tech issues
Written by spinebuster

With all this wet and muddy riding I've been doing lately, I'm tired of stripping the bike down after each ride to lube up the inner cables of my mtb.

Has anyone used the Middleburn cable luber thingy's? Can I use them on both the brake and gear cables? Have they effected you shifting at all?

Cheers for the advice,

their Aluminium frame. It has the non-round top tube (triangular) and downtube (eliptical).

The mechanic reversed the cables from the STI levers to the cable stops, and crossed the inner cables underneath the downtub

I'm building a fixed wheel bike and would like to have only a front brake calliper.
Without getting into a extended discussion, keeping this one useful brake seems the right thing to do.

Given I'm going to keep both aero drop levers on the bar, because I ride mostly on the hoods, it makes sense to me to have either of them activate the front brake. I know a lot of people "lighten" one lever, but
