Watching Armstrong out of the saddle on the climbs for extended periods of time at those rpms is quite impressive. I don't seem to recall him spending so much time out of saddle in previous years on the hills at that cadence. Anyone have an idea if this observation is accurate, and if so, what prompted the change? What is his cadence in the hills (7-8% avg. grades), in and out of the saddle, the

I think this would be the place to go for asking this question. I am making a type of go cart thing for my 13 year old son to use in this competition. It is going to be foot powered like a bike accept its going to look likea go cart. Anway, I need to know "stuff" about what kind of (the thing that the chain is on that you turn). More specificly, the size I should get for my son to be able to move

Hi. I'm new the the group but thought this would be the right place to ask. Just got a set of Powercranks and put them on the bike I've been using on my Computrainer. Gee, I used to enjoy my Computrainer! Now I can only ride it for about 3 miles! Anyone else had experience with
Powercranks? Does this get better or is this why I see them on e-bay so often? Thanks in advance!

In a recent email about a bicycle rear-wheel text that you were asked to edit, you mentioned that you dislike abbreviations like DS and NDS for drive-side and non-drive-side.

When you suggested that right and left were shorter, simpler, and just as good as DS and
NDS, I replied that I'd just seen an odd-looking bike whose chain and gears were on the left.
