I'm building a modern touring bike from an old lugged trek touring frame.
I'm trying to decide on a handlebar. I'm going to use Ultegra STI combo shifters. Does it matter if I use a single groove handlebar, a double, or no groove?

I've seen several bars I like, but they seem to be either no groove or single groove. Any input would be appreciated.

As some of you may know I'm an active cyclist. I do about 10.000 miles/year on my racing bikes.

I have some spareparts here(wheelset, chain, cassette, bracket, saddle) and
I'm tempted to build a cyclocross bike.

Since I have no or little experience with these bikes, I would like to hear from you.
